You Can Paddle Day 2008
Saturday, May 17 - 5p.m. - 8 p.m.
Sunday, May 18 - 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Boats, Boats and more BOATS!! YOU CAN PADDLE DAY! is a great way to test drive canoes or kayaks you have heard about or take a paddle for the first time. Our May demo day got everyone a little wet even before they got in the water but the paddlers still had a great time! If you want to request a specific boat to demo, please call the store or stop by early Saturday.

DEMO DAY! is held at Henderson-Gladstone Recreation Area, near Gladstone, Illinois. Gladstone Lake is located 8.4 miles east of Burlington, Iowa. Drive Hwy 34 to 1550 N by Gladstone, Illinois. Look for our white van with signs at the turn. The lake is located one mile north of the turn.

Gladstone Recreation Area has camping (as long as you like geese and trains) available. No running water.
